A classmate and I shot and edited this ad for Hydro Flask after concepting and storyboarding it.

In the past decade, environmentalism and sustainability have become a major priority among younger generations. As a result, college students and other young adults are making greener purchasing decisions, especially when it comes to the use of reusable water bottles. Hydro Flask was one of the first brands to strike it big in this category, however a slew of brands have emerged to compete with Hydro Flask for the top slot. Our challenge as advertisers is to differentiate the brand from this large group of competitors (Stanley, Yeti, Owala, etc.) and make Hydro Flask stand out as the original and best option for reusable water bottles.

Target Audience: 18- to 25-year-old college students with a busy, on-the-go lifestyle.
